Bill (Coach) passed peacefully after a brief illness at the age of 92. Born in New Jersey, Bill moved to California when he was six years old. He attended San Diego High School and achieved All CIF Status. Bill played football for USC and was named Most Inspirational Player. Bill was named Honorary Canon by Episcopal Diocese in 2005 in recognition of his fundraising for the Episcopal Relief and Development. He was inducted into the San Pedro Sportswalk Hall of Fame in 2005, earning the Trani award for his contribution to local athletics. Bill was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane in 1993 and followed in death by his son James on July 15, 2013. Bill is survived by his current wife Irene, his children Michael Seixas of Israel, Carol Seixas and her husband David Ables, Tom Seixas, Kathleen Seixas-Greene and her husband Harold, John Seixas and his wife Franceli, his daughter in law Astrid Thangan (Seixas), six grandchildren, Kai, Axel, Harold Maile, Marcus, Hannah, and Kylie.
