Raymond N. Sherwood

Beloved husband and father, Ray was born on June 21, 1928 in Los Angeles where he lived and worked his entire life. He passed away December 11, 2012. Ray served in the U.S. Navy as an electronic striker on a destroyer during the Korean War. He was married to Rose in 1954, the love of his life, and they enjoyed 58 years of marriage. He graduated from Washington High School and became an electric engineer with AT&T for 30 years and was an electrical contractor for 30 years with Ray Sherwood Electrical. Ray loved skiing, traveling, reading and tinkering in his garage. He had a keen sense of humor and was a gentle, loving man who will be greatly missed by those who knew him. Ray is survived by his wife and three daughters, Susan, Janet and Karen; and 4 grandchildren. He has now joined his son, David, in heaven.
