Justin M. Miller

1977 - 2013

Born in Torrance, California. Justin is survived by his wife, Jessica, sons, Joey and Johnnie, parents, Joe and Mona, and brother, Corey and his wife, Leah. In addition, Justin is survived by a large family that includes grandmother, Kathy, nephew Tristan, nieces, Kristina and Gianna, and in-laws, George and Elizabeth Colocho as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Although he resided in Florida, he always called Torrance his home. He played in Torrance Little League, and was part of the Little League World Series in 1992. He graduated from Torrance High School in 1995, earning the Daily Breeze Player of the Year. He then attended Harbor College earning All American Honor and was drafted by the Colorado Rockies. Throughout his amazing16 year career, he played with several MLB teams including the Blue Jays, Marlins, Giants, and most recently the Los Angeles Dodgers. Justin always loved and respected the game of baseball. Win or lose, he always wore a big smile, and made sure that everyone was having fun. He lived his life to the fullest, never letting anything bring his spirits down. Justin will be dearly missed, but never forgotten. We are all so lucky to have had him in our lives.
