Passed away on March 22, 2012, just shy of her 50th birthday, after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Dana was born April 24, 1962 in Pomona, CA. She graduated with the Class of 1980 from West High School. After graduation, she began a career as a flight attendant for PSA and U.S. Air, where she gave 21 years of service. She then became a licensed insurance agent for seven years. Dana leaves behind two of her greatest accomplishments, her sons, Christopher and Michael Kneepkens. She is survived by her mother, Leeann Agner; her sister, Darla Kohly, (Peter, Peter Jr., and Patrick), and her brother, Mike Agner, (Fannie). Dana will be lovingly remembered by family and friends as a woman of pride and conviction. This was more than evident in her fierce love for her boys. She will be forever missed. Services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at The Wayfarers Chapel, Palos Verdes, at 10:00. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to the Dana Kneepkens Memorial Fund (DKMF), 6382 Riggs Place, LA, CA 90045. Tax Id. no. provided upon request.
