Elisa Jeanine Partridge (Ingrassia) peacefully passed away at home on July 19, 2014 surrounded by her family at the young age of 62.

Elisa was born on July 13, 1952 in Pisa, Italy and was the daughter of Mary and James Ingrassia of Rolling Hills, CA. She was graduated from University of Southern California, where she received a bachelor's degree in Education and Master's degree in Special Education all while an active member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority.

She met her husband Fred Partridge at her dear friend Susan Pedersen's wedding in 1975, and shortly after the two were married. They most recently celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary in November 2013. Living in Lunada Bay for over 35 years, Elisa and Fred raised three boys, Thomas, Matthew, and Steven.

After taking a break from teaching to raise a family, she returned to the profession 15 years ago to teach Special Education at Monte Malaga School. She truly enjoyed helping her students grow as well as the camaraderie and friendships with her colleagues. Elisa was an active member of Las Candalistas, a charity benefiting children and the environment in the South Bay.

Elisa's strength and faith helped her survive cancer on four occasions in her lifetime.
She was a devout Catholic and very strong in her faith. She volunteered her time to teach religious education at her local parish St. John Fisher Church.

Elisa cherished spending time with her family at home and the vacations they made together. She will be remembered for her loving and compassionate character. Elisa was a companion who her friends and children could always talk to and share their feelings without judgment. She enjoyed gardening and creating a warm and beautiful home to share with her family and friends.

The Partridge and Ingrassia families would like to thank Elisa's extended family, friends, and the UCLA and Torrance Memorial medical team for their continued support and care throughout the years.

Elisa was preceded in death by her father, James Ingrassia and father-in-law George Partridge. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Fred, three sons Thomas, Matthew and Steven, mother Mary, mother-in-law Catherine, sisters Suzanne Aiton (Doug) and Silvana (Claudio), and brothers Rick (Val) and Jim, brothers-in-law Cree (Julie), James, sister-in- law Susan Ginise (Rusty), and 13 wonderful nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass was held at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, on Friday July 25, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers and gifts.
