White, Barbara Jean  
Barbara Jean (Mitterling) White 1927 - 2015 After a brave and courageous five-year battle with cancer, Barbara Jean White, a long-time resident of Manhattan Beach (35 years) and Bermuda Dunes (25 years), passed away on June 23, 2015 in her home in Manhattan Beach surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born and raised in Glendale, CA. She graduated from Hoover High School before attending the University of California Santa Barbara where she met her future husband Tom. Barbara and Tom were married for an amazing 65 years. They spent many years as members of American Martyrs Church and the Manhattan Beach Badminton Club, and later as members of the Bermuda Dunes Country Club where they spent their retirement golfing, playing tennis, cultivating wonderful friendships, and traveling the world. Barbara also enjoyed spending her time with family and friends, playing bridge, reading, and traveling. Preceded in death by Tom in 2013, Barbara is survived by their two children, Tim White (Tamera) of Pringle, South Dakota, and Traci Britton (John) of Manhattan Beach; their six grandchildren: Jaymie Baquero (Jon), Thomas Britton (Carolina), Andrew Britton, Mark Salvador (Courtney), Ryan Salvador (Kelly), and Aimee Bruhn (Jeff); and four great-grandchildren: Zachary and Maggie Bruhn, and Ava and Anna Salvador. All who knew and loved Barbara will always remember her warm smile, her caring nature, and her beautiful spirit. She was an amazing and wonderful daughter, wife, and mother. She will be missed. Woelp, Norma  
Norma Jane Woelp Died June 18, 2015 at her home in Torrance, California. Norma was born in Inglewood, California in 1933. She was the daughter of William and Izetta Woelp and was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Marguerite Woelp. Norma was a graduate of George Washington High School, and Pepperdine University, where she majored in education. She was employed by Los Angeles Unified School District, serving at 95th Street Elementary, Point Fermin Elementary, and 232nd Street Elementary before retiring in 1988. Norma was a member of Branch of Hope Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Torrance and was an active participant in Ladies of Hope. She helped with the coordination of greeters at the church for Sunday services. Norma was also a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. A graveside service will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 10:00a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Branch of Hope Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Torrance or to your favorite charity.
